We offer 5 races.
 | Our Marathon Course
is 70km and qualifies for Provincial Colours. It has something
for everyone. From single tracking to steep up & downhills. From
good roads to bad roads to no roads. From swamps to river crossings to
speed sections to long grass and rocks. The new route now visits the mountians in a serious way. |
 | The 46km Half Marathon
has a suprise in stall. Also
qualifies for provincial colours. Both the above races are for Licenced
riders only. Temporary day licences will be available at R35-00. |
 | The 25km Fun Ride
is an enjoyable ride for anyone who does not want to
tackle the marathon courses and contains some easy technical sections. This
route now covers some new ground. |
 | The 10.5km Fun Ride
is aimed at the young but also for
the novice or the "not-so-fit". |
 |
In the
Kiddies Chocolate Race. Kids may enter riding anything with wheels. |
|
 | Your entry entitles you to a mid day feast of game and
mutton "a la Thomas River" with our famous
"Bum-in-a-Drum" |
 | The first 200 Pre entrants (in the
two marathons & 25km races
only), will qualify for a free
T-Shirt and all finishers, except Kiddies Fun Ride, get a medal. |
 | Fantastic prizes and
lucky draws!! |
 | Affordable accommodation is available for over 300 people,
ranging from camping, hikers cottage, self catering, home-hosted and nearby B&B options. |
 | Should you touch ground you will be well looked after. Not
only by
our medical team of a Doctor on call, two nurses and physiotherapist. But
Netcare 911 will be in attendance. |
 | We are really making the race family friendly with
"Sticky Fingers" play school looking after your kids while you
ride. For only R35 Cheryl will look after them and it includes a "horrog & joose"! |
 | NB as the race
will be computer timed, all late entries on the
